More Info about "The A**hole Jam"... (from facebook press release)

--

Have you ever been to a musical performance and thought "this really needs an author book signing to make it more interesting?"

Have you ever been to a book signing and thought "Damn I really wish there was a musical group jamming while I wait in line."

Sorry. You're out of luck until February 19th, 2011. But then sh*t gets real!
...
Fresh off a mildly successful high school reunion organization, Robert Manganaro and Chris Illuminati thought "why not do something like this to help our own careers? Minus the high school mascot rental." And so the idea for the The A**hole Jam was born.

Please come join Robert and Chris at The National Underground on February 19th, 2011. Rob will be performing with his musical partner Diego Balbuena while Chris interrupts to read from his newest book A**holeology: The Cheat Sheet.

It's going to be super spiffy. Do be there! Also NO COVER CHARGE!

About these two fools:

Robert Manganaro and Diego Balbuena (RMDB) are a singer songwriting guitar duo based out of New York City. Originally bandmates in college, the two recently revived their musical partnership forming RMDB, an eclectic mix of rock, folk, jazz, pop and funk. Recently back from playing a few performance in Denver Colorado, the duo closed out their fall tour dates by performing their newest single, "December" at a songwriters event at Lincoln Center.

Chris Illuminati is a writer and author and regular contributor to such popular web sites and publications as Ask Men.com, Asylum.com, Penthouse, Maxim and more. He is the co-author of A**holeology: The Science Behind Getting Your Way - and Getting Away with It and is the sole author of its follow-up, A**holeology-The Cheat Sheet. More about the book here: http://theassholeology.com/.

Opening Act:

Jon Barbieri is a classically trained pianist who started experimenting with digital instruments in 1995, having a strong appreciation for their portability and versatility. By using loopers and an array of MIDI controllers, the performance is live and nothing is pre-recorded for the mostly improvised set.
